InspIRCd is a modular C++ IRCd (IRC daemon) for Linux, BSD, Windows and Apple OS X systems created to provide a stable, modern, and lightweight IRCd written from scratch.
As InspIRCd is one of the few IRCd projects written from scratch, it avoids a number of devise flaws and fleetness issues that plague other more established IRCd projects with the same or less features, such as UnrealIRCd 3.
InspIRCd is one of the few IRCd projects to provide a vast number of features in the form of modules through the use of an advanced, wealthy documented module API.
By keeping the functionality of the main nucleus to a nominal we yearning to enlarge the solidity and fleetness of our IRCd scheme and construct it customisable to the needs of myriad users.
InspIRCd is designed primarily to be a fashion IRCd for the ChatSpike IRC structure however we are releasing this free IRCd to the public underneath the GNU GPL so that you may benefit yourself from our work.
