VSamp is a program and VST plugin that turns the Macintosh into an OMS or FreeMIDI and Sound Manager compatible multitimbral representation playback module. Configured like a plain sampler, VSamp can be setup to playback on 16 MIDI channels with up to 64 samples per waterway, mapped and enveloped to user-defined configurations. This can then be driven by an OMS or FreeMIDI-compatible sequencer, or the included employment 'OMS Thru' contest on the same computer. The VSamp VST plugin enables you to obtain access to the audio yield of VSamp from within your VST-2 compatible sequencer representing additional processing and mixing.
