FASOFT Compressor is Shareware program for Windows developed by Fasoft

FASoft Compressor is a Compressor / Expander / Noise gate DirectX plug-in
that works on mono and stereo audio information from within audio applications
that support the DirectX plug-in architecture.
Using this plug-in you can "figure" the sound of billow files attenuating loud
parts while boosting quieter ones, enhancing the sound of the recordings of
your instruments or vocals. The Plug-In allows to demarcate a usage dynamics
graph, so plane complex dynamics processing can be obtained with a some
clicks of the mouse.
Smooth transitions ("Soft knees") between regions (i.e. the beginning of
the compression region or the "closing" of the noise gate) can be simply
designed adding a some nodes to sweeten the knee of graphs.
The plug-in can use part settings representing the liberal and proper channels of
stereo files and process each channel independently. It supports both 16
scrap and 24 scrap processing, and uses internal 64 scrap precision representing optimum
sound quality and performance.
Being a DirectX plug-in it can be worn from middle multitudinous audio applications,
such as FASoft's n-Track Studio, Sonic Foundry's Sound Forge, Cakewalk,
CoolEdit Pro and multitudinous others.
